As a small business owner in order to promote Glitter Nonsense, it's also necessary to be a content creator. That means endlessly creating content for TikTok and Instagram in the hope of attracting new customers and maintaining my connection with existing customers.
One of the things I sometimes talk about is the importance of supporting small businesses, but I'd be an absolute hypocrite if I didn't shop small myself!
Of course we all end up turning to that big South American rain forest place out of necessity and convenience, but whenever possible, I choose to support small businesses, so I wanted to share some of my favourites with you below.

Based not too far away from me, I was gifted some cute cat earrings for Christmas a couple of years ago and have been a fan ever since. This shop is full of stunning handmade, hand painted polymer clay statement jewellery, so if you fancy a change from resin, look here!

Another fantastic illustrator, I've bought plenty of things illustrated by Kate over the years from socks to headbands and stickers and this is a particularly good place to shop for gifts and all things uplifting, colourful and sassy!
